Our Ethiopia Single Origin comes from Tero, on a small family farm owned by Yakob Bati within the Guji Shakiso region.

ABOUT GUJI SHAKISO
Yakob Bati is a dedicated coffee farmer and respected pastor, balancing the demands of running his three-hectare family farm with serving his local community. Based in Tero, within Ethiopia's Guji Shakiso region, he has spent many years carefully tending his farm, with a strong focus on sustainable agriculture, quality and traceability.
Coffee farming is the primary source of income for Yakob and his family, helping to support his wife and provide education and opportunities for their eight children. His careful approach to farming and long-term commitment to producing high-quality coffee have earned him a strong reputation within the region.
Alongside his work on the farm, Yakob continues to play an active role in his community through his pastoral work, making him a respected figure whose dedication extends well beyond coffee production.
